About

Built by a technician who never left the floor

AGW Consulting was founded in 2026 by a certified A&P technician and software developer — someone who's spent years in a Part 145 shop watching good people lose time and money to problems the right tools should have caught. Stratos is what he wished he'd had, built to keep aviation from falling behind on the technology that could move it forward.

Our story

Nearly seven years of wrenches, one persistent frustration

Our founder came into aviation the way a lot of good technicians do — introduced by family, first working on the line, then moving to a Part 145 shop on a buddy's tip for a better schedule. Going on seven years later, he's still a certified A&P technician, still on the floor. But he also writes software — and that combination is the whole point.

That's where the idea came from. Two things kept repeating: avoidable human error, and work that quietly ate far more time than it should have — like a part left waiting for weeks when it could have been ordered on day one. He didn't just see a shop-floor problem. He could see the software that would finally solve it — and build it.

So he started AGW Consulting in 2026, out of Miami, for a reason bigger than any one shop: aviation is heading toward a wall. Too much of the industry runs on software that's already dated, falling behind technology — especially AI — that's ready to move it forward. AGW exists to close that gap.

“I'm a technician first — but I also write software. So when I kept watching us lose time to things a computer could catch in minutes, I didn't just complain about it. I built the fix I wished I'd had on the floor.”

Why we built it

The beliefs behind Stratos

People keep the authority

In aviation, a certified person has to own the call — legally, and because accountability makes the work safer. When it's an individual's job to get it right, errors carry real weight. Stratos advises and flags; your people authorize. Always.

Minutes, not weeks

AI can do in minutes what used to take a person weeks. Stratos puts that speed to work on the parts, paperwork and numbers that quietly cost shops the most — starting with the part that should have been ordered on day one.

Built on the floor

Stratos wasn't drawn up in a boardroom. It's shaped by someone who does the job — so it fits how technicians actually work and makes that work better, instead of adding one more system to feed.

What changes for your shop

Faster work, better numbers, happier customers

Better margins

More profit with less waste — costs that used to hide in delays and rework come down over time.

Faster turnaround

Units that normally drag move through the shop quicker, because nothing sits waiting that didn't have to.

Dates you can stand behind

Give customers delivery estimates that hold up — because you can actually see where every unit stands.

Stronger relationships

Fewer surprises and more accurate promises build the kind of trust that keeps customers coming back.

The company

AGW Consulting

Founded in 2026 in Miami — where hands-on aviation experience meets the technology to advance it.

Who we are

AGW Consulting builds and delivers Stratos to aviation MRO operators. It's led by a certified A&P technician and software developer — a rare mix of someone who has done the maintenance work by hand and can build the tools that make it better. Our mission is simple: keep the industry from falling behind on technology that's ready to move it forward.

Why “Stratos”

The name comes from the stratosphere — the highest layer of the atmosphere before space. It's the vantage point the platform is built to give you: sitting above the entire operation and overseeing everything at once.
